are 1/2 ton and big trucks the same size pedals... my master cylinder has a black plastic filler cap...doesn't look big enough for a big truck...the chunk of x member is there … are they the same ? mine are about 13" from the outside of the elbow to the center of the pivot...
Pedals should be the same but the master cylinder bore is probably larger on the big truck. That is the way it works on the same year Chevy trucks.
I'll have to go out and see if I have any line left on the MC that I have unless someone beats me to posting a measurement. I don't think the big truck lines were any larger it was that the big truck wheel cylinders are larger and there is a larger volume of fluid to move to push the shoes out to the drums.
F-1 has a 1-1/16 Bore while the larger trucks appear to have a 1-1/4 bore according to Rock Auto. Checking the Napa online site confirms the 1-1/16.
bought it yesterday... was the tranny crossmember's steel thicker on the big trucks... mine has a 6" section of it between the master and pedals...
