Technical Exhaust System Aesthetics

    I did the "black" paint thing, it's rustoleum high heat paint that is supposed to be flat black, but is really a dark gray. The lighting is different in these two pics, but the exhaust system pretty much disappeared by painting it.

    Looks good from here. The black & the shadow make the exhaust nearly invisible.

    After 1300 miles, including a few long trips driving in the rain, it's time to repaint the headers.

    Too bad its not as easy too :)

    Looks good and hidden now. Do they need a repaint from road grime- or are they peeling/flaking? -rick.

    road grime, oil stains, peeling, flaking, etc. I probably won't mess with them till next year.
