Hot Rods exhaust ideas

I am thinking about using a torque tube as my exhaust pipe. Has anyone tried this before???

why not just buy some mufflers....like Smithys??

 

It's been done before. Chrome 'em and Boom Tubes will be back. Haven't seen them for awhile so why not be different.

They didn't call them boom tubes for nothing - have a unique sound.

 

Many sets of headers were made with those..back as far as the 40's
