Exeter Auto Supply in Exeter, CA is supposedly (according to their website) a HAMB Alliance vendor. I placed an online order back in early January for an Offenhauser oil filter bracket adapter (for a flathead Ford V8) and haven't heard anyhting from them since. I've called their phone line several times and it just rings off the hook (if anyone remembers what that means). Is this outfit still a going concern or did I just get rooked? Anybody know?
A bump for today. These guys are one of the few Offy sources, I hope they are still open for business.
Dan sold it about three years ago, and I don't know the new owners. I drive to Fresno every week so I'll roll by on my way home, and take a look for you.
YELP is showing the place is closed? It's facebook page is showing it as permanently closed. I just called and got no answer. Store Location: 255 West Pine Street Exeter, California 93221 Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays Closed Sundays Phone: 559-592-2707
What was the old owners Hamb name? He made a post a while ago about the ownership and him selling parts through a website.
Went by the store in Exeter today, it is vacant, best bet is to get ahold of Dan on the H.A.M.B. like alchemy said.....
I bought some Offy valve covers for my 347 Pontiac and a diff cover from Dan and he shipped to the UK no problem. Haven't seen him on here for a long time though Sent from my SM-A520F using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
