History Ever check High School Yearbooks for Hot Rod Photos?

Picked up four Redwood City, California high school yearbooks 1949- 52 and these cars made it. Bob

 

A lot of So Cal high schools in the fifties had car shows and photos were generally included in the annuals. It was not unusual to see hot rod ragtops pictured in the homecoming parade with the queen and her court.

 

Cool stuff, but makes you want to drag that bunch off the roadster.

 

My school didn't even want me to park out front of school,I had two cars,and they'ed only give me one school park sticker,not one for the hotrod,just the custom. HA,wounder why the rod didn't make the year book. So here's me driving down the side walk out front of high school. HA Fricken JD

Butch's 1954 Ford truck did make our 1975 annual - but hell he had the cleanest of us all and sadly Tom had got killed in his 1952 Ford truck early in our senior year. My loaded up with classmate's Stude truck did participate in a rival high school shenanigan's !
