Event Coverage event shirts color

We tried both white and black at the Hunnert Car Pileup one year. They were different designs, so not really apples to apples, but the black shirts WAY outsold the white shirts.

I prefer dark colors (shows less dirt, sweat, etc). If you want to do something not black, but still appeals to guys/gals who like dark colors, why not navy blue?
