Thanks for that. The main reason I went maroon on the flatty/trans/QC and frame is because there is a lot happening on my car and what it didn't need was more colors.
Not that I can find, never heard of it if they do. Mainly lubricants and fuel system additives. They sell good stuff though.
Good video, thanks for it and info. Think I may go with that option. Did you paint the plug wires to match! Lol...
My last Mini engine was white. Worked out okay. Only oil stains were where I spilled when hurrying an oil change. My sbc race engines were always painted Caterpillar yellow. Yellow motors scream!
I notice we've been enjoying quite a few paint color threads lately. I think you can't consider body color without also taking into account engine and chassis color. And wheels. Oh yeah... and interior. And top, even... for an open car. Hmmm... more to this than somebody might first expect. Oh, just paint it all black.
I like to use the OE colors, but it really depends on the project if you can get away with that or not. Here are a few examples. That said, I vote for the Ford green. You can buy it from the various early Ford parts houses. I get mine from CW Moss in Orange, CA.
