Buliding a small block chevy for a roadster, I want to have the valve covers, timing chain cover, oil pain, alternator and all that match, I would really like to do some sort of black out kit with no writing on it... Anyone know of anyone that sells this, I know I could have each part painted but figured I'd ask

The GM Goodwrench motors come all black. You could paint the alternator and intake black as you install them.

Thanks the only ones I can find from GM have Chevy or GM written all over them. I'm all about supporting my motor but just wanted something a little more stealth to fit the rest of the vehicle. And yes I know I could paint them but figured since I have to buy them anyway if I could find a matching kit that would be great.

    What's a "black out kit"?

  7. 000510.jpg I like black for the engine color but dress it up a little. Make it look like a hot rod!!!

Haha thanks!! I've done complete Chrome engine (less block and heads) I've done factor correct, I've done crazy paint designs...I was just thinking all black would match the car well...don't want to argue on choice lol just wondering if anyone has seen a dress kit like that! Thanks

  9. Hey brother........look at whatever the Goodwrench catalog is these days. Been maybe 5 or 6 years but I put their black stamped steel valve covers, timing cover and pointer on my 383. All no name. My daily driver never gets shiny stuff.
