    I'm new to the site but I appreciate the knowledge passed here , if anyone can help I am losing my mind ,I am having trouble getting my 56 buick headlights to act right . I have it narrowed down to the headlight switch but i cannot seem to get it out......any suggestions?

    Did ya get the knob and shaft out? Should be a small button on the switch press it and pull the shaft out and unscrew the switch Tim

    Take the bottom inside windshield trim off, then you can see about 6 bolts up at the windshield that hold the front of the dash pad on, then under the pad where it rolls under at the face of the dash there are phillips screws that you need to remove. Then pull off the dash pad and you get to everything from the top. Make sure you get all the screws out, if it doesn't come out there are still some screws left somewhere.
