Is anyone headed to the concourse at the Hotel Hershey this weekend? I've seen some pics of the cars that were invited, some classy stuff.Spectator fee is $25 and it goes to charity. I will be there Sat. for the hillclimb and Sunday for the concourse.

I will be at the Hillclimb on Saturday and the Elegance on Sunday.
I went last year and It was well worth the money.

See you there, Dave. Will you be at the museum Friday night? I need to ask you some questions about August.

It looks to be a great event. I was bummed that I missed it last year.
I'm going on Friday and hopefully again on the weekend.

I plan on driving a 57 Corvette race car from the Hill to the museum on Friday Night.

YES YOU DID. weather is perfect. Race cars are headed to the musuem for a photo op at 6:00. Dave has the '56 Corvette, which is a B-ville car, and there's a REAL air box '57 running the hill

  10. Hmmm, I wonder if Dick Robinson did the resto on either one of them- he was working on an airbox Corvette the last time I visited his shop?

Dick didn't do either one of these cars although he has done other cars for the owner of the 57 air box car.
It was amazing to see a very rare car like this being run like it was meant to be run. Most of the 43 air box cars reside in collections or museums.
This car ran the Hershey hillclimb in just over 1 minute. Very Fast.

  16. Nah, Doug knows full-well that he only added traction :)...

Lord knows if I were in the Corvette, my head (and big old ears) would be sticking out over the windshield causing ALL kinds of drag :D
