    I was wondering the same, I saw it for sale in Pa. and when I called the guy who posted the ad last month a few days ago he said he sold it.[​IMG]

    Yaril did you sell that one recently? If not it's exact twin is in KC now. Jimmy owns it now.
     
  7. I took this pic at a show last year. Before the previous owner bought it. It's black primer with www's and red steelies on it now.

    here is mine...been working on her for about 2 years now...getting real close....just got back from tubular automotive. I think they made some of the prettiest headers Ive ever seen.....all bent, tuned headers...

    If Ford had slanted the back of the door to match slant of the glass front and rear it would have certainly made a much sleeker look. That straight line blows the flow.

    From a design standpoint, I agree that the cab profile would have had a nicer flow - as demonstrated by the cab of the green Chevy pickup in the background. I have to wonder, since the Ranchero was such a low volume model, as was the ElCo, if something like redesigning the door top would have been the difference between profitability or not. Both of these vehicles were designed from a standpoint of using parts already in the pipeline for the wagons or other higher volume models, while minimizing the number of parts that were used on that one model. To think that a single "design line" could have killed off something like this before it got made.... K6

    That looks spectacular. Where would a fellow get one of those?

    I saw it at KKOA this year. I was standing there speechless with a dumb grin on my face. I don't know how many times I walked around it.

    Here is mine, did everything in our home garage but the paint, which my buddy sprayed. S DSCF0002.jpg DSCF0008.jpg DSCF0005.jpg old about 10 years ago.
