I was checking out Anaslime's sweet Edsel/Ranchero http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=341020&highlight=ranchero+edsel and it reminded me of an Edsel I'd seen 3 or 4 years ago at GoodGuys Ft.Worth. It was a '57 or '58 Edsel wagon converted to a 4 door truck and it was so well done that it looked like the factory did it. Basically, they cut the roof off after the rear doors and moved the upper tailgate (glass) to just after the the rear doors and converted the back half into a bed (like a Ranchero) keeping the tailgate functional. It was painted light blue with a white top and lowered just right. I know I took pics of it, but I think it was on my brother's camera and who knows where they are now. Anybody remember it or have pictures of it?
I only found one picture of it. Was taken at GG/Ft.Worth in '03 or '04. Super clean workmanship. Anybody have more pictures of it?
I wish, i remember the car/truck(?). I was done very well. It was for sale, tried to talk my father lin into buying it, but he bought another damn Falcon.....
