e1.jpg e2.jpg e3.jpg e4.jpg e5.jpg Here is another intake manifold that came with some Four Banger Ford stuff and I know its not Four Banger!

It appears to be cast iron and maybe NOS or repainted a long time ago. I do not think it is a reproduction. Had years of barn grime on it that I wiped off.

It is about 20" in overall length, the port holes are about 1 1/2" in diameter and the carburetor holes are about 1 1/2" in diameter as well.

What does this fit? What is it's worth? Thank you in advance.

@jimmy six all over it. It's an early one, has linkage incorporated into intake.
216 Chevrolet 6, small base carburetors. Should be aluminum.

So, would this be for a 1936-1952 216 CID Chevrolet 6?
Thanks again. (Again, I am just a Ford guy!!!)

  6. Yes for the 216, will work on a 235/261 with the adapter rings and matching exhaust manifold or light machine work on the factory manifold to get the heat rises to match up.

I had one of these for a 235, nice intake. Was considered an “ economy or fuel saver “ intake when originally introduced.

    nice piece.

  10. I sold a newer version with out linkages but polished and with a couple Rochester B carb cores for $350

yours will be worth a bit less being for a 216, but still around the price @Moriarity put up.

I’d start at 250 or 300 and gauge interest.

Condition is a lot of the price on those, The lowrider Bomb brigade likes them but they want perfection in what they stick on their engines when it comes to speed trinkets.

The best thing is you have the linkage. Matching correct 1-1/2” base carbs would be a plus with a hard fuel line. It all depends how long you want to sit on it. There are a couple on eBay right now which are not as common as an Eddy.
Offenhausers are for sale new at $450 and I think you can get new rocker arm covers too. If a guy has an Edelbrock cover it might be what they need. $250
Is still the spot I’d start. Good luck

Looks like you bought the pile of banger manifolds that I saw in Auburn at the RM auction a few weeks ago.

Thanks, I'll list it for sale on the classifieds here at 250.00. Seems like a fair price to me with reproduction Offys being 350.00 from Speedway. Thanks again for the help.
