edelbrock carb parts

    i bought a carb at a swapmeet and the guy took the front butterfly (choke?) any one know where i can get one? do i need it? this is for a 600cfm carb 1405

    here is wat im talking about

    That's an air valve and, yep, you need it. If you can't find one, let me know. I might have one, I'd just have to dig for it.

    Just about any parts store should be able to order one for you. A visit to Edelbrock.com should be able to find the part number for it.

    cant get a part # for it any where? maybe its just me...any help?
     

  5. Google Edelbrock, they have a tech line that is very helpfull and could even sell you one!!

    They helped me out with an old AFB!!

    Sorry, I thought it was off the back, that is a choke plate. Should be easy to find and you could get by without it until winter sets in.
    What all is missing, the plate, shaft and link or ????????

    I've got the stuff you need, if you can't find it locally there in "The Bottom".
     
  10. I run mine wired open, I think you would be ok without it for the warm days.
