    any one got an econoline truck for sale or trade? I've posted a want ad several times in the classifieds with only want response for a van in maine...

    Very cool! How does it handle when you nail it? I've thought about doing the same something along these lines if I can find an Econoline.

    From what it looks like your entire drive train will be independent of the truck frame, is that correct?

    kinda. it still uses the rear leaf springs to support the weight and the shocks are attached to the axle and the frame but the axle is held in place with inverted axle floaters off the rear springs and heims in the front.its a big swing arm.

  13. Kind of like the Little Red Wagon, but with a newer style joint at the front. Those Heim joints on steroids are a popular item with the 4x4 crowd aren't they?

    I purchased a 1961 Econoline pickup at the San Diego swap meet about 3 years ago. It cam from Texas and it is really cool. Winfield is making a 2012 version of the Pacifica from the early '60s.

  21. Initial plan is stickers and patches, mothra. We have the van art with and w/o the girl and "Brown Sugar" name. May do shirts with girl. what do you think?

    oh hell yea.....the bitch goes well with it. checked out the designs....theyre all rad. have you done any kind of intro for that site or tried to get more people into it? i really pay attention to all things vintage van and forums and whatnot but just found out about it through your sig. you may be onto something with that.

    looks pretty good. at one time i was contemplating trying to pull of mercedes lights just like gary fioto did on his green merc. i thought i would flow well with the side body curves.......then i found out how much they are going for:(
