What does it have to do with traditional hot rods and customs?? The powers that be delete it and you start another one?

Probably because it's boring and kind of off topic.

I'm pretty sure the general consensus is that Ebay sucks.
Mainly because of all the scamming crooks, rediculous fees for everything, and the PayPal that feeds the whole darn machine.

    Buy from Craigslist.

eBay = bad juju. Trust me. Run.......now!

  9. Yeah I never understood the eBay hatred. I think it's because it drove some prices out of some peoples range and made rare parts less rare thus lowering it's value. Or it may be that computers aren't traditional.:p

On my side I found many good things on auction sites...

Concerning your question why don't you ask a moderator directly if you have a problem about your thread being deleted. I highly doubt starting another thread about the same thing will help you...

As a seller on evilBay, I can tell you there are as many crooked buyers as there are sellers. Difference is, there's no "Seller Protection". Not that's worth a damn anyway.

Been to any E:Bay drag races lately? How about, have you asked someone there on E:bay how to change out a throw out bearing on a 35 Ford with a late model transmission? How about has anyone there helped you do a 2 stage paint job?

    I thought not.....That's why you're here...E:bay ain't traditional hot rodding PERIOD

I've gotten great buys on e-bay and Craigs List and Yahoo Groups and HAMB and local classifieds. It's just one tool in a box of buying tools to help find the parts you need at a price you can afford. Ditto on the selling side too. I don't understand the "fee bay" bashing. It's linked a lot of sellers and buyers together who would have never met and brought some items to buyers that would have been deep sixed by unknowing people who stumble upon items and don't know what they are, what they are worth and if anyone even wants them. Grandpa's barn has divulged a treasure trove for us pickers that heirs would have sent to the land fill. That's my 2 cents worth
