  7. Hey Pete,
Keep coming back on here pal, I only really follow the Eastwood & Barakat thread, anything you post replies to, the Banger Monthly thread and anything Model T.

Speaking of which - I'm going Model T crazy but the only thing stopping me totally is $$$$$$ HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought some 4.11 gears for the quick change in my roadster the other day to run at the Nostalgia Drags in April down here in NZ.

Anyway - keep up the good work mate.
    Greg

Awesome news Rick! Very cool - thanks for sharing!

Who in the world would want to beat up on Pete Eastwood? With his past and present accomplishments I would gladly listen to any advise he would give out. But without those occasional Idiots this would be a dull world..............

    Rick,
I want to ad my congratulations for the accomplishment of your son You have every right to be a proud Pop! I'm sure the time he has spent with you will help him as did Chip Foose' time with his dad Sam. There is never a replacement for real world hands on, only an enhancement. I'm glad to see the future in good hands.

  10. Here's a photo I have been meaning to post for a long time. Rick always said send us a pic of you at a landmark in NZ wearing the shirt. Well not a landmark but beside my roadster before heading out today.

By the looks of the tire marks, you were either late for work, or excited as hell to get home from work. Awsome thread(s).:D

Hard to believe it has been a year already. I'm open to any ideas. In order to celebrate it with as many as possible we should have it at LARS in the swap meet area like last year.
    Any other ideas???

Nothing better than watching your kids grow, learn, and navigate their way through life in front of your very eyes. Congratulations to you and your family.

Based on the posts and PMs I've received, the consensus is a get together on the LARS weekend.
Now all I have to do is iron out the details.

He's a good friend of mine. I've heard him mention yours and Pete's name in conversation before. He's still building grill inserts and taking his sweet time on his modified project.

Here's how Rick and I "wasted" a rainy Saturday in March. Great company. What a cache of Arduns and a 1 of 2 Cummings OHV for flatheads. eight plugs per head4 each under the intake and exhaust! Was run at Bonneville in '50 or''51. Too bad the rain ruined the chance to drive the cars because they would have blended right in! Next stop El Mirage in May and then onto B'ville in August if Mickey and I can convince Rick. Right Mick?

Some days it helps if you are smarter than the equipment. and this wasn't one of them. Here's the pix that were supposed to be attached in the previous post.

    Doug-
Had a great time. Thanks for the invite! You were way smarter than me. I was so in awe of everything, I didn't take a single picture. I wish the rain would have let up so I could have driven the Sedan. No fenders in the rain in SoCal is begging for a fix it ticket. No thanks!

Either a fix-it or the cops would swear the 4 unlimited hydros were racing down the freeway. With your 10.00x16s and my 14-31x15s, we can lay down some beautiful rooster tails in a good rain!
