I was reading the September issue of New Zealand's Hot Rod Magazine and noticed on page 10 a picture of our shirt and a nice little article by Greg Stokes. I was going to post the article, but I'm sure there would be legal repercussions. From what I see in their magazine, the Kiwis are as passionate as we are about their cars. Some things are truly universal!
    Thanks Greg!!!!

Where is the beef? Maybe a picture of your old one would work for now. Pete must be busy.

Talked to Pete for a while at CHRR at Famosa. Asked him how the car was coming. "Slow" he said"nobody pays me to work on the tudor" As some one that made his living for lots of years by the job, I can fully understand.

Sorry for the disappearing act but there wasn't much to report. Now there is.
Pete has finished the chop and the front suspension is finished. It will be on all 4 wheels later this week. I will post pictures of the finished chop tomorrow.
    Thanks for your patience!

It was on the cover in Nov. of '82. Check out the tags expiration month and year. Look at the original article and look at the plate!

Does anyone out there know what Eric Vaughn was well known for before he created Real Wheels?

Worked at Blairs for 4-5 years- but probably best known for Pete & Jakes.
Everyone worked for Don- me included.

Come on guys! A free shirt for the correct answer. He did this a lot for Lil' John Buttera. Think about his cars.

That's absolutely correct. The very first item he louvered was a hood for a 32 3 window that Pete owned. That was 40 years ago. Yikes! Guess where that hood ended up? That's right, it was the hood for the Sedan!
Just a little more history trivia. Gee, I wonder who we can get to louver the hood this time? Oh that's right, Eric still does louvers!
Send your info and a shirt will be on its way.
