I've had a few 49 to 54 Chevys and I love 'em. In my recent search for another one, I stumbled across a 1950 Plymouth. It's kind of a cool looking car and was wondering if anyone has any photos of one done up. Lowered, primed, etc....... Tim
Here's a few. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168415&highlight=1950+plymouth http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158389&highlight=1950+plymouth http://autohobbypage.net/photo/mopar/00/mpr50ind.html
Here's my '50 coronet. I haven't really done anything except lower it 4" and drive the wheels off of it.
" I have a couple pix of a 51 that I really like, I will try to post em here" Is it yours? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/51-P...0092538451QQcategoryZ6387QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I've decided to go with a 51 Plymouth Cambridge. It's an original car with only a few rust issues to take care of. Hopefully, I can turn it into bit of a headturner as most of the ones that are posted, are....
oh nice! I see you're another PA guy...maybe I'll run into you (not litereally) at one of our home-state events......
WOW......very cool 51 Cambridge!!! now I see what the potential can be for one.........can't wait till mine shows up.
My '49 dodge wayfarer. There are lots of aftermarket suspension pieces for these, you just have to know where to look. It has a fatman mustang II stub, 440/727 engine/tranny and a ford 9". Sorry the pic's so big.
Sorry, it will never be sold. It is getting a gear vendors overdrive and a speedway center section with the powertrax in it weekend after next.
Here's mine. This is as low as you can go with airbags and no frame mods. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q186/zues9mm/plymouth.jpg
Tortuga, Wayfarer, Zues,....very nice rides...I'm inspired to see how cool these cars can be..........I'll be posting some pics of mine as soon as we get a little spring weather around here........
here,s my buddy cowboy vinny,s 52 wayfair it has a 340 crate motor 4 speed and disk brakes drives the hell out of it
Fact is, if you look through the old "little" books, a great many of the cars featured are Mopars. The magazines and writers in those times were not so Ford/Chevy prejudiced as those of the last 3 decades. With the communications of today it amazes me that magazines aren't begging for submissions to be reduced by subscribers and freelancers!!?
