does anyone have an early (64-67) mustang or falcon steering box laying aronud they could measure the mounting bolt pattern for me? I am trying to see if it will fit in my fairlane without having to buy one first.

'65 power box minus most of its input shaft but the dimensions are the same for all:

Center-to-center (plus or minus a few RCH ruler-to-eyeball measuring error):

3 7/8 between the lower holes
2 5/16 vertically between the front holes
4 1/2 the hypotenuse of the triangle (upper front to lower rear)

If that matches then the Borgeson integral-assist power steering conversion should fit too...please let me know whether it does match as there's a '64 Fairlane on my potential-project list.
