Doing the Tardel thing with an F1 box in an A. It looks like the steering shafts on Model A through 39 all have the same sized hole. The plate at the end of the cases will interchange, so has anyone used the early light switch in an F1 and if so, what parts are needed and are there any problems?

Got back to the project and found the shaft on the F1 is a smaller diameter than the earlier shafts. I'll try to find a smaller tube that will work and will post the results if I succeed.

I used an F-1 box with all 39 parts, use the 39 plate at the bottom. The light switch will fit and works perfect. That's what I did on my model a and has not given me a problem.
