Technical Early Hemi Power to Coil but No Spark?

Instead of grinding the shaft I moved the distributor up in the adapter and tightened the set screws. Fired right up.

I also slightly enlarged the inside diameter of the distributor gear so that it would slip over the intermediate shaft, and also to control the end play on the distributor. Working well so far.

Just took it across the street and drove it around in the big parking lot. Ran like a top, all is well in the world of ignition.
