The Art Show seems a little on the slow side tonight, everyone must be working on their cars.

I have two Desk Top Art Work models for this week.
Up first is #68 (the one last week was really #67 oops) It is a modified drit track Gremlin. I have the chance to put 3 Art Work cars in a display at the upcomiing indoor car show in Davenport Iowa on Jan 21 & 22. This one is the first, and it will be for sale there. I also thought I'd do a 30s dirt track race car, and possibalibly a 30s model A, We will see how many I get done.

The second Art Work is an ordered car. It is # 69 and is a 51 Chevy Convert. It's not quite done yet, but since I will be busy with my son's wedding this weekend, I thought I'd post it now.

I'm also posting the #67 which was an ordered car I slipped in on the end of last week. It is a winged modified dirt race car. Gene

It's been a while since I have done anything for Friday Art. Here's my freehand airbrush sketch. That's Photoshop airbrush via a Wacom tablet.

As usual...good stuff. Nothing from me this week, but I would like to share a x-mas gift from the wife.....it was a nice surprise. 48" x 30" abstract oil painting on canvas.....myself and the Ford. Painted by Daniel Brown in Troy OH. He does some cool abstract automotive pieces. If you want his contact info shoot me a PM.

Pic doesn't say it all. Looks much more vivid in person.

Heres some of the stuff I do at work each day, These are full size woodcarvings in basswood. The armored horse went to a carousel in Canada, The other one decorates a home in the St Paul area.

    Great Show! as always everyone.

Maybe I have been watching too much "Miami Ink" or am influenced by the new Japanese resturant that just opened down the street but I did this.

Here's a watercolor I did a while back. It got damp recently and the paper is warped. I need to get it remounted.

That's an interesting texture the cardboard gives to the shaded areas.

Who would have thought that friendly guy becomes the antagonist.
Who would have thought corrugated cardboard becomes the medium.
