Note the cool pants
From KKAO event Hamilton Ohio early 1990's loved this car
Jimmy Giminez Tbird. Green, then Chicano purple, then faded away only to be found sitting in a trucking company yard in Fremont CA., then sitting in my back yard 40 some years ago, then chained to a tree in the CA. mountains, and finally reunited with the family of the original builder and redone to this purple version.
Same car as in post 224
I had a chance to work on and then drive the second incarnation of Doane's Thunderbird earlier this year, all I can say is what a joy. The car is quick and nimble. Early T-Birds aren't much of a "sport car" but with a little work they really shine. I'm a fan.
took a while to polish wheels but they are on think I like the knock offs. now for a slight drop
Slightly off topic BUT had to share. Found on BAT auctions for this boat. Mr. Puff, the happy new owner of the Chris Craft hopefully only staged this shot of his bird in front of his new Chris.
I use dto tow my 16 ft with a 70hp outboard to the lake all the time with my 55 but hey it was all I had!
I interrupted an off the frame restoration of this T-Bird to race it in '98 and '99 in
the Texas Thunderbird races.
Those were good times, wish we could put them together again.
I also miss the good times had at these races.
You do know you can delete it yourself, honestly I can't believe the mods haven't by now.
I sure liked this one that I saw at a show last fall. Beautiful car!
got it down maybe a little to much. but still just above scrub line
Saw that one at the Wichita indoor show in Jan. Killer.
