Early Ford Thunderbirds

    They make nice hot rods. Those long front control arms can make them into canyon carvers with a little work. Just move the upper control arm attachment points back 1.5" to add positive caster and your home free. Then try to get that Big Block Chevy in there lol...

    Those little birds were my dream car in grade school. I had the AMT models of them.

  18. Looking for information on Herschel Buchanan and his 1955 Thunderbird:

    I found his racing history at http://www.ultimateracinghistory.com/racelist2.php?uniqid=1547. He came in first in well over half of the races where he ran this car. Apart from that, I have no information on this vehicle. I don't even know from what magazine this picture came. If anybody knows or has any information on this car, I would be greatly appreciative.
