There are not many around, that's kind of a big car to run in Gas class. Great for Super Stock, however

A straight axle on an Impala is like IFS on a Model A or 1932...

There'a 1960 Black car on the net. Leaves so hard the chassis twists. I don't think it's an axle car however.....

  7. Better do some frame reinforcements. That X frame twists pretty easily.
Look at what the lowrider guys do. They have a pretty good sytem for strengthening those frames.

  8. Yeah heres the quick run down... I have a 64 impala in need of lots of work.. Its competely gutted.. I jus got a divorice and I dont have much money right this second.. But my 5 year old son "tin tin" Is a hardcore greaser.. Hes taken claim to this car at 3 and his mom insists Ill sell it and he will never get it.. He invisions the car with the biggest motor possible hanging out of the hood with flames.. So what better way then build a gasser to satisfy his needs and prove his cunt mother wrong..So yeah lots of fab work n sink all my money into a blown bb and Ill have a cool car that me and my son can tear up some streets with and the ocasional drag strip . By the way the gasser will be named TIN TIN lol..

Yeah I planned on doing some reinforcing.. and Ive seen some pics of the maroon Impala. But from what Ive gathered single leaf shouldnt be used on that heavy of a car up front.. and I couldnt find any pics or info on the rearend set up on that car...got any more of it?

Thanks for sharing lost mos def badass got any more pics or suspension setup info?
