E-Brake cables/'32 chassis

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ric, Mar 9, 2014.

  1. Building a '32 chassis to go under a Brookville roadster body. Have a Winter's QC with "big Ford" rear drum brakes. Trying to figure out an emergency brake cable that will work, figure there has to be some stock Ford cables that will work. Any body done this and have a suggestion, Napa part number or year/model id would be helpful. I would prefer a single cable connecting right and left side that would tie into short cable from e-brake lever in body. I am planning on using a floor mounted handle assembly.
    Thanks.

If you are using a floor mount handle your easiest combination is to use the Lokar E cable kit for floor mount e brakes.
