A few more shots of a great day, typical kiwi spring weather , but met some neat people. The T Bucket is a local car built on an original T body in the late 60s , its never been rebuilt just meticulously maintained. The chrome is still outstanding as is the paint. SBC ,flathead 3 speed and chromed banjo diff. Not driven at all which explains the condition .It would still hold its own in any show now.

Looks like a great show with some great cars. Wish I could've attended. I just got back from New Zealand after spending two weeks vacation time on the North and South Islands. Aside from the incredible natural beauty of your country, I was blown away at how many old American and English cars I saw on the road driving! I drove past everything from Muscle Cars, restored originals and even a couple of full-on open wheeled Hot Rods. I saw more old cars on the road there than when I drive around California in the same amount of time. Incredible. Love your country, it's a very special place.
yes indeed its a great country,,left Australia 20 years ago,,never looked back, great people as well.Just did a 800 mile round trip in my open wheeled car . Yeah its a cool car Dylan, does good skids too,,for a flatty,,but dont tell BRAIN
Next time you or any HAMBERs are in NZ make it known and we can make you welcome and show you around.
Great shots. As an ex pat Kiwi I usually venture over to the Palmy swap meet. Haven't been to a rod run over home for many years. Got a fair bit of rare stuff over there as well. Top show and thanks for the shots Dylan
Thanks for the hospitality! Will do, as I plan on being back some time. It's a pretty easy 9 hour flight there from here. The same offer goes out to any of the New Zealand HAMBers heading to Honolulu. Mahalo, Jason
