Technical Dumb Columbia OD question

    If one found a Columbia housing, but no internals, could you install it and still run the regular Banjo parts? I'm guessing not, since the carrier would need some kind of support on that side.

    i have only built one, but going from memory you would need both right side housings, and the carrier as its wider, at which point you darn near have the whole thing

    You would need to make a spacer like this to support the carrier on the Columbia side.

    The bottom picture shows a standard bearing cup on the right and the left side is the Columbia bearing cup size. Also note how much farther out the Columbia carrier is supported to make up for the additional overdrive components
