I have a 2x2 pair of Stromberg Aerotype carburetors. These carbs were produced from 1937 through about 1955. Stromberg Aerotypes were produced as O.E. for Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Hudson, Packard, Studebaker, and Chrysler, as well as on several military applications including Cadillac tank engines. These have the three bolt base pattern the same as a Stromberg 97. They are a true dual carb setup. The primary has an automatic choke, and the secondary is not drilled for a choke shaft and does not have an accelerator pump. They include some very old, heavy cast aluminum ram intakes.
