Hi there fellow Hamb'rs. I have put a dual carb setup on my 261 and needing to figure out what to use as a spring return on the pushrod that I had to build. I do not weld.... so I was wondering if there's any other options out there?

Thanks in advance for any help!

These Carter Webers: 2 bbl, progressive. Throttle bores are 28mm primaries, and 32 mm secondaries?
My wife's got one on her mildly hopped VW 'Cal bug', 1700 cc. Works great, I've used them on 1600-2000 cc BMWs.
My son set up an intake with four of them on a SBC F.I. intake, with a flat plate for the carbs...large plenum underneath made for a 'satisfactory mix'...Love these carbs! They came on everything from BMWs to Pintos.

If you use Matt Davis's locking sleeves, just file-notch the rod for the set screws. Excellent idea, forgot those were available!

  7. i would weld a tab, but a small hose clamp should work to hook the spring on.

  9. Drill a hole in it put a cotter pin on the hole and hook the spring in the cotter pin.
