Drop spindle help

    Im looking for info on modify stock spinldes ....dont got 450 bucks to spend for fatman ...i can mig and tig very good....any help would be great...building a 48 fleetline btw...please help
     
  2. how about stepping the control arms?
    look up a thread on here i was reading one this morning.
    you cut the lower control arm end off and step it up and re-weld it higher

    it was for a 49-54 control arm though

  4. not too may ways around dropped uprights other than that. at least not much i am aware of. dont wanna spend the money on uprights and steering arms either and saw that today
    looks like a good options, you say you weld good? sounds like up your alley
    im not much of a welder yet myself:D

    Usually you could flip the stock uprights . At least on fords you can . I'm not sure on the the 48 fleet line.

  7. You could also think about z-ing the frame or channel the body a couple inches. Or both.
