Drinking and Driving ... Pinewood derby style

Looks like a hell of a lot more fun that the Derby I went to with my nephew. And I bet nobody cries when their car looses.

Sweet! I wonder if I still have my pinewood derby car from when I was a cub scout. Either way, I may have to build one.

It's a total blast. And you can totally run an old car if you still have it. We've had a few people bring their childhood cars from boy scouts. I sure wish I still had mine.

 

That is by far the coolest bar event EVER

 

I'm going to have to get a "Kit" and compete, looks like a good time.

 

WOW, BG. You guys are having WAY too much fun! and it's only Tuesday. How did the mini belly tank do? It looks pisser!! If you ever get bored with the track maybe you could make it go down off the end of the bar and do a loop, just like the old hot wheels!

Only way them pic's could possibly be cooler would be if there was a cacklefest soundtrack when the cars come down the hill.. What a great bar..

That's really cool..... It must be from the 20's or 30's when that was the only style a "Race car" looked like. I've been wanting to build a "Sprint" car style derby car. I'm building a big one, so I'll probably build a replica soon.

Built this way into the seventies at least.
Pinewood Derby was developed so the little guys could have a race like their big brothers soap box derby.
