Technical Dragster Paint Scheme Thread

Looking for some ideas to use for paint on my FED. Especially, from the motor back. Anyone have any close ups of cowls and, side panels etc.?

Thanks guys. I was hoping maybe someone on here had a stash of pictures like the one above.

 

One of the most common and used across the country , was to start at the center of the cowel and lay a 2" or 3" stripe down the center. Then continue laying stripes parallel to the first. The effect is that because the cowel slopes down the stripe continue to angle progressively sharper towards the ground. Alternate the colors to suite your fancy
