Here's a picture of me racing my coupe at Barona (Indian Reservation, San Diego County) 1/8 mile. I ran it about half dozen times and had a blast. And nothing broke! BTW I built this engine, it's a 276ci. Flatty, '39 top loader, stock banjo.

I'll find out. Pretty sure it's gone with the wind, like the rest of them.

I believe my best time was 11.2 @ 60 MPH. It wouldn't hook up off the get--go and I couldn't keep my foot out of it. A lot of fun though.

That car is awesome !!! I have seen the rebuild progress each year when I attend the CHRR. I hope to see it make a pass soon.

  12. Since Randy shared his perfect Fiat with us, here's a few others which I have collected over the years, plus 3 other wild coupes.

Draggin Coupes thread would not be complete without the notorious 15 oz Fuel Coupe.

  24. Hey man. Do you know anything about that 32 with the inline six that you posted? I now own that car and am looking for info on it. Where'd you get that picture from? Thanks

  26. Blackout, any info on this car? I bought a car with a rear sloping chop similar to this a few years back, mine had scoops on the rear quarters [side] and exhaust cutouts through the bottom of the rear quarters. Sorry no pics loaded at this time.

  27. A few more from over the years starting in 1961 at Island Dragway in New Jersey.
