    First drag strip I ever went to in my life. 9 years old and I was hooked. Saw Bobby Langley and the Scorpion (not sure which one).

    Was that drag strip where the RedLine Drag Strip is currently? It might not be called a strip anymore but I grew up in the days of Green Valley and Dallas International.

    I love it!
    I think it could be the Shreve Automotive Hanks Tank A sedan at 0.10 and 0.25 andin thebackground at 0.28.Wouldn'tknow for sure, as I wasn't born until 1968. There aren't many photos of it around.
    blackrat40 posted the pic of it later in life at Caddo. The color pic is from an article on Hemmings titled "Them Changes".

    I was there as a 12 year old on the early sixties. A couple of my memories are of Bobby Langley going 180 and beer cans for injector stacks on "Hands" 55 Chevy gasser
