Here's some stuff left over from 10 years ago. I used to have almost 100 cars at one time. I got into the hard body thing heavy!!!!

Most of us are using hard palstic model bodies. There are also a lot of lexan bodies available but they are not as realistic looking.

Theres some sweet cars in here. I used to run them about 15 years back; that was before I could drive. The place has closed down since then, but I still have a car or two.

You can get ready to run cars available from Parma. I build my own chassis with kits from JDS & WRP, they are built with piano wire or stainless tubing. All the parts are available at the track we race at or you can find a ton of stuff on evilbay.

A scale 1/4 mile track is 55 feet long then you need some more for shut down.

There are 4 tracks here in Central Ohio.. You have SpeedyO's which is 1/4 mile then you have Top Fuel, Ctown, and Mopar that are 1/8 mile. It is funny how many real dragracers there are into this also.. For more info you can check out club (400) drag board or Bracket500.com

I've noticed this post hasn't been generated for the past two years .

The slotcar hobby is been growing by leaps and bounds and slot car drag racing is becomming more common everyday .

At this point it's hard to say how many slotcar tracks are operating . Most are club type garage/baement circuits with several commercial tracks operating in every state .

The scales run from HO scale to 1/24th .

Goole some info up and check it out .

How many slotcar racers do we have now .

    I'm 1

  23. I miss it and have been looking into getting a HO track for now but then step back into the 1/24 hardbodies again...........anyone in arizona down for this

I thought it might be a good thing to bump this post up .

Cooler weather has pushed slot car season into full tilt boogie .

Our 1/25th slot car drag season opened on Saturday .

Let's see where this goes .
