I should add , that HAMBer Bullet Nose had quite a collection of pics of club plaques on his website (including a bunch that I shot) .

I have been into cars and motorcycles all my life. I have been in a couple motorcycle clubs, but not any car clubs. I am real interested in the car clubs, so I will be watching this thread.

Do a search for club plaques and you'll find lots of info and pics.

  14. Some of my cars run this but it's just a dash plaque.. Club goes back to the 50's and we're still alive. I just finished a two year term serving as club president.
Fun bunch of guys. 2015-06-22 13.57.57.jpg

I thought he meant magnesium plates bolted to the front crossmember that sparked when the hydraulics were let down.

  17. Never heard the term 'till today. The magnesium skid plates make more sense in that respect.

that's what I was thinking he meant as well. Not really a "lowrider" guy, so I was never a big fan....

Didn't even think about that, but I'm pretty sure he meant club plaques. Lots of pics of them on the HAMB , so maybe I'm wrong ? Don't think so though ...

  24. A kind of hell that is occasionally unavoidable. But given a choice, I'd rather go to a supermarket than Ikea.

My plaque only drags when I pull onto a side street , a driveway out something like that

Tell me about it, brother :)

Guess not, Larry . It's raining outside, so I don't want to drive the Shoe . Plus, I don't have much of a life, apparently , lol !
