Isn't that Jim Bucher car still in the Garlits museum? After Top Gas died he ran nitro in the car. Its was something to see.
jim ran a slick rear engined car too...chevy powered of course..one of the sleekest and best runnin cars from OHIO..and the midwest for that matter...too bad he was taken so soon...
Oh, Man!!! I would love to hear that thing run... What a SWEET sound it must have made on the top end.

Well it looks like no one was interested in the 57 Chevy. Here are some shots form the AHRA Winternationals in Tucson around 1980-81
And some more from Tucson around 1981-82; Garlits did a huge Fire Burnout that night, but I was to amature to get a good shot of it...Thats Big Daddy walking the track.
One more batch, we got to help Prodhomme unload his car that morning because his crew was late.
