All of the restored and replicated cars should make a tire blazing full pass, says the guy who doesn't own one ;)

yes, there are manufacturers that have that similar body style. Roo would have the best knowledge as far as quality goes.

  15. Thanks. I've done some searching but haven't come up with anything yet. I know somebody has to still make them. The only ones I've found have the extended cowl that I don't like. I did find a Bantam Roadster with the stock Bantam grille shell and a Tonneau Cover with 3" tall flared center driver opening. That would be cool!

Finding one with the stock cowl configuration (as per Stan's car) is a little difficult. The Class Glass body that PWood listed is a nice piece (http://www.classglassperformance.com/23 T Alt.html ) and they are great people to deal with. They have done a couple of Fiat bodies for me and are honest with their completion dates.
Just about every other race style T body comes with an extended cowl but is is not too hard to cut that off and add a new firewall where it suits you.
Richard Earle at Suncoast also has a stock configuration Bantam that would be perfect for a nostalgia car and he also has a T with a tonneau and windshield. http://suncoastracecars.com/ROADSTERcatalog.pdf.
S & W in PA also have a long cowl Bantam with an integral tonneau but the body is somewhat asymetrical in several areas and I would not recommend it.
The most common problem with the Bantam roadster bodies is that the rear of the cockpit opening is generally somewhat forward of the axle center line resulting in the need to cut into the rear deck area to clear the shoulder hoop/roll cage.

  22. They were safe back in the day and they could shut them off at 600' and save a lot of parts. No "wild Willie runs"; non compliance would earn the participant a one year ban from all cackle events. Boy would that draw a crowd. "Cackle Cars In Motion!"
