Ivo-Zeuschel before the full body and red paint...




Ted Cyr in the Cyr & Hopper gas burner. This car, from Escondido, CA, was a regular at Lions, Santa Ana, though they towed it back to the NHRA nationals to sell, as they had their blown Chrysler TE-440 to win the race. But the new car lost in eliminations, so they took this car off the trailer, wiped off the "for sale" signs written in shoe polish on it, fired it up, and won top eliminator...1958. Ted later put twin blown Chryslers in it...


Starting line at Goleta, CA, 1948, trophy winners...building in the background is still there, drag strip lasted only a couple of years, though.

First meet for the Ivo-Zeuschel fueler right out of Fuller's shop...no body so Ivo beat one out of aluminum...this is Seattle...
