Here's a better idea: stop looking at this thread and the rest of us will continue.

 

Any info on the 170 A/FR. I saw it run at Bakersfield in 1965 and need an I.D.? Was it a Midwest car?

 

Graffe ( sp ) Brothers - from the Midwest - would have been there via the Top 20 Meets held at Oswego, Ill where as they raised money to send Midwest cars to Bakersfield - will post some flyers.

BUT, it would help if new posters actually read the thread.YEP, all gazillion posts! Why would you not if you love racing?
That way they might get the "traditional" aspect and also avoid the numerous repeats. Of course I have done repeats too, but I really try not to. There IS MORE TO THIS than just Googling and posting the first pics that come up!
It might be a tip off when the Google pic results says "JALOPY JOURNAL: DRAG CARS IN MOTION" too!
I'll be back when I have new, ON TOPIC stuff!
