Hay ardun. post # 41895 you have more pictures than I do of the roadster.. picture racing Heidelberg Fontana . and picture #3 injected Chrysler Fontana. Both Me (merek) driving Ed Taylors mod. roadster. That car was more fun racing than anything I ever drove.

Guess what guys, The truck you talk about is another cool Willys truck. That one is owned by Bob Duncan and was really built by Chuck Finders. It can be seen running in the early nostalgia races at Milan. It is orange, but this time a supercharged BBC. And yes, it is a friggen steal! I'll look for a pic.

  22. Good to see you on here again Merek. For those that don't know, Merek is a legit T/F driver from the 60's and 70's. He's the real deal, and a great guy to talk about the good old days with.

Thanks for the great pictures from Dover Drag Strip.
Looking at those pictures brought back so many wonderful memories of Sunday's spent at Dover.
    Thanks Jim Hill

  24. Nice to see you're alive and well Merek. Do you remember our match race trip to El Paso with John Hoven's funny car; you, me, and John crammed into a rather small ford pickup cab, pit stop in Albequerqe at the emergency room due to your prescription malfunction, wind blowing 50 mph at the drag strip. Every trip has its stories.
