Rick, glad to hear that you are making your way back. And what better way to that than to have a shot of a hapless pilot eating a blower for lunch.

Here you go. Sorry about the bright spot in front of the rear wheel. This is a photo of a black and white glossy I bought at Minnesota Dragway back in the day.

Thanks for the pic. It takes a certain kind of brave soul to drive a car with this short wheelbase, this much horsepower, and still row a 4-speed. Jim Lutz was definitely one of those guys.

  9. Welcome back Rick-your fantastic collection has been missed. So glad to read that you're feeling better and better.

  10. Here's MT's first twin at San Gabe in 1958. This was it's maiden run. Fritz was driving this day. This the car that eventually got a full body and ran 294 at Bonneville on the way to the US Nationals. This was the inspiration for the Challenger.

This was the A/SR of Kanishero and Andrews that won Street Eliminator at the last HRM event in 69. This car hauled!

I would agree Wenderski and Trapp. Long shot might be Red Lang from NY and the Dead End Kids.
