Man...hard to keep up with all your posts. Isn't the Tobasco car the one that went YEARS with the OG owner and turned into a modern day bellybutton car? :(

Man, I loved this car. All steel. Despite its girth it won a few open shows. Off to Industry Hills for the speedway races.

Early '63 Corvette because of the guide block for the hood, just above the water hose.

    Airoso and Morgan.....Multi-Maverick from #9914 and 9944

Joe was here this weekend (Don't tell his cows) and I had him looking at this site. When we found this pic, he told me the story about this partner. I think he said Larry Morgan (not the same one) and that was Morgan's brother in the pic. Joe had tried to talk Montgomery out of the Mustang, but he would not sell it. Must have been after breaking off the shifter, because he did sell THIS very innovative gasser/altered which was on the cover of HOT ROD January 1971. Airoso sold the car to it's current owner Bruce Caballero of Ontario, CA. They spent some time together at 2012 March Meet. Bruce is currently looking for a Boss 429 for the car or to trade it for a Willys.
