If you're racing at Mokan, don't forget to put a neutral safety switch on the shifter of your car, stick or automatic. Mokan tech will check for one. Almost got thrown out last year cause I didn't have one. Not gonna push it this year.

They let it slide last year but said be sure to have one this year. Lots of easy ways to do it. Mine is getting a mechanical brake light switch added to the clutch pedal.

  4. Definitely do this! Not only is it a tech issue it's a safety issue. You don't want to be the bonehead to run over someone when you fire up your rod in gear.

Something else to add to the list of things to do.
Should be an easy fix on the old JC Whitney shifter.

Gotta love that JC Whitney shifter!

  7. Is this true, I can't race with a Manual if I don't have a Neutral safety or Clutch switch?????
Never had that checked before, in any car.

  8. You bringing the Hussy? I can't wait to see it blast thru the traps.

  9. I would do it anyway. You wouldn't want to drive all that way and then be denied racing because of a $2 switch.

I'm not all that worried about a neutral saftey on a stick car. I think most of you guys are going to push the clutch in before you crank. More concerend about the stick shift cars having a real scatter sheild.

You Fluid drive guys need the neutral saftey.
