Is ChromeplaterJosh still doing the work? He was, then he left. Is he back at his Dad's shop now? Many years ago he plated some pitted parts for me and they turned out great.

 

I don't think Josh is still working there, but it is his family's operation and they are wonderful to deal with.

Engine is together except for the new blower. This is the mock up that came off my Model A.


Engine in for the last time. If the blower ever shows up, I'll get this bitch fired.

Hi Bob. This one should make close to 700. It is a little more serious than the blown Pontiac in my Model A. I don't plan on getting rid of it, but I'm up to 5 cars and it gets a little hard to justify dragging more shit home.

FINALLY some real progress. The new blower finally showed up.



It even fits.



First fire up.



Next is glass, brakes, finish the wiring then around the block.

I thought it seemed a little docile up front but when you went around to the back it's got some Bruce Lee chop to it.
Car looks sinister from the front with the grill on it now.
