No fault of yours, Root. I bought a new house and I don't have the garage built yet, so the '40 is kind of on the back burner.

I still crank it up and chug around the block just to break in the new neighbors.

    See you in Joplin???

Or at least case the paint scraped off the bottom like mine. The first time is tough to take, it comes a little easier after that.

Still no garage at the new house, so the progress is minimal. I did get the front clip bolted on rather than gravity, got it bodyworked and filler primed.

Have to fix the rear fender where I backed into the house...… then block primer and some color. Might even have the car finished before the new shop is done.

    See ya, -Abone.

Those fuckheads at Photobucket are wearing me thin. I have had a paid account for two years and they still fuck it up.

Thanks gas. I can see them on my phone, but a bunch in the thread are missing on the desktop. Photobucket sucks.

Most of your photos show up with Internet Explorer Desktop Browser, Google Chrome and Mozzilla not so...all have stupid patches but that Bucket Suckets...No matter what...

I agree with that Photobucket crap that is the root of all evil...buy a huge storage device for home and give yourself the rental...nice Hotrod...;)

Finally got some color on this little car. First time for this new paint booth.

Not done yet, but this is the basic idea.

Sharp eyes will notice a different house in the background from the beginning of this thread. That is the reason for no progress the last 6 months. Hopefully, I can get my shop built this fall and get back to cranking shit out.

    See ya, -Abone.

    Heck yeah, looking good!
(Instead of hosting on Photobucket, you can directly upload photos on each post. They will always be here that way, hosted on the HAMB servers.)
