Projects Done and in the... errrrr.... Clouds??

DISCLAIMER: The point of this thread was to show the progress on the paintwork. Thats it.

When I left my house today to go load up Al's (NitroFC) car, it was bright and sunny and warm. I get in the shop and wipe the car down, get it fired up, and open the door to pull it outside. Now its cloudy and a little chilly. Plus it looks like rain! But alas, I posed it for a few shots before I loaded it up. Not quite the conditions I was hoping for. Dropped it at his interior guy for a new gut. Once it comes back we have a few small things to finish up and then its all set. All for now.

 

Oh shit, excuse the wheels he's changing them to something a little more HAMB friendly...

The headlights are still butt fucking ugly too, along with those taillights.

 

The wheels are not HAMB friendly but the headlights are? Just asking.

Other than the stated stuff above....that's a sweet car, it looks straight as an arrow in the pics.

 

I didn't build the car, I just painted it, damn! I actually think the headlights are 54-55ish Porsche... Whatever the case... flame away! I'll stay out of it.

 

Doesn't mean they suit the car....well at this point I guess they do suit this streetrod.

 

Nice paint on that is like perfume on a pig.

Denise may be off her meds, but she's got her glasses on. That thing is ugly as a man's butt! The paint looks great.

 

I have to admit I don't like integrating modern lights into an old ride. That's what I love about the 30's cars, the bullet headlights. Then Ford went and ruined everything in 37, starting a new trend.

Hope there is going to be a door on that filler opening, and I agree headlights look like shit. Paint is great though!

 

This car is so wrong on so many levels. Not really right for this board I would say. Let me guess? Tweed office furniture interior? Tillt column? Billet gauges? I could go on but I won't. Next?

 

I hope the next modifications involve some whitewalls, skirts, and suspension changes. That thing wants to be a taildragger... would make those headlights look GOOOOD!

Paint is slick man, very nice job. Hope you got a gas door for it.

WOW brutal words about SLOWAND LOW 63 s ride. I hope you that cut down his car have the (perfect car) Maybe you should go out in your garage and take another look at your own car before driving out in public. Sometimes it's better to say nothing if you have nothing good to say! Nice car dude.
