Don Garlits Had A Gold T.... Any Pictures???

I was Just watching a video from Paso 1988..And they had a few ads
at the end for a vintage drag show and Garlits is puling SlingShot1 with
a nice looking Gold T that kinda looks like what im working with in my garage.


Is there any pictures of this out there in cyber land??

I wish I had pics of that car ! He clipped me with that car as I was coming around his trailer in the pits of Gateway Raceway in Madison , Ill ( St. Louis ) back in 1990 or '91. It was just a little bump but it got me an autographed shirt and I got to walk him to the line with that slingshot

 

Just think if he'd have t-boned the hell out of you!

With my size I might have actually caved in the front of that T !

 

I think it's actually yellow. I saw him touring with Swamp Rat 1 and he was using it as the push car. And I think it's a copy of his first dragster.
